Challenge

Many years ago, Becki was having issues with her basement leaking, and reached out to a waterproofing contractor. A sump pump was installed, and her basement was once again dry. Recently she began to notice water seeping in through foundation cracks and along the wall and floor joints. She reached out to the same company she had originally install the sump pump, but they refused to come back out and help her. Furious, Becki started looking for help from other companies.

Solution

She came across MidAmerica Basement Systems, and asked for help. Design Specialist Mac, arrived at her home to inspect her current situation. He addressed that the sump pump was properly working, but to fix the issue with the seeping wall and joint water, WaterGuard should be installed. WaterGuard is a patented drainage track that collects water from under the floor, and from the seeping walls. Once water is collected in the WaterGuard, it is then redirected to the sump pump. To address the leaking walls, CleanSpace Wall Liner was applied. This helps reduce moisture and helps guide the water to the WaterGuard. Now Becki can rest assure that the water will reach the sump pump thanks to additional help from MidAmerica Basement Systems.
