The ideal candidate for this position will have the physical strength and endurance for this position. They must be able to read and communicate both written and verbally. Ability to load and unload heavy materials, tools, and equipment onto the company vehicle for each job. Unload and clean the vehicle upon returning to company. Assist coworkers in construction installation. Have basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction. Ability to work independently and self- sufficiently with a team. Must have great problem-solving skills. Ability to take direction and ability to be coached. Must display and eagerness to learn and grow.
Physical Demands
The Construction Crew Member must be able to handle repetitive movement such as but not limited to bending, standing, twisting, kneeling, pushing and carrying tools or objects. The Construction Crew Member will lift/carry heavy objects frequently and will perform strenuous physical labor within this role. Must have good dexterity and hand-eye coordination. MidAmerica Basement Systems is looking for a candidate with Construction experience is preferably, but not required. Must have a valid Drivers License and safe driving record. Ability to stay out of town overnight and travel throughout the week. Ability to work overtime as needed. Being a dependable individual with a positive attitude that strives for customer satisfaction.
