Installation Preparation
The team prepares the areas for the push pier installation.
Soil Is Removed
Soil is removed from the area where the pier will be driven.
Foundation Access
The hole is dug deep enough to access beneath the foundation footing.
Steel Bracket
A heavy-duty steel bracket is installed beneath the foundation footing.
Steel Pier
Steel pier sections are hydraulically driven through the bracket to bedrock or stable soil. The weight of the home is then transferred through the piers to competent soils.
Soil Backfilled
Once the home is stabilized, the team back fills the holes with the dirt removed.
Closer View
A closer view of the back filled soil with the hole where the installation took place.
Poured Concrete
Once the soil is backfilled, the team pours concrete over to level with the rest of the foundation floor.
Home Stabilized
With the installation of the push pier system, the structure is stable again.
Minimal Disturbance
There is minimal disturbance from push pier installation. The installation around the homeowners current sump pump is a great example!
