Ian W. of Bettendorf, IA called MidAmerica Basement Systems because a passing storm had left a Y-shaped crack in his foundation. He met with design specialist Mike Banks. After Mike reviewed the walls, he suggested a solution to the problem.

Mike recommended installing carbon armor to stabilize the cracked and bowing walls. Foreman Justin Bailey and his crew came out to install the carbon armor. They also installed some CleanSpace Wall, where the team noticed some water coming in. The basement is now dry, and the walls are safely stabilized. Ian is very happy. 

Homeowner Pat Z. of LeClaire, IA called MidAmerica Basement System to talk about getting his basement waterproofed. He met with design specialist Joe Sarb. Joe advised Pat that WaterGuard and a SuperSump Sump Pump would cure the water intrusion problem around the wall. 

Foreman Justin Reger and his team installed the WaterGuard System, and a WaterGuard Port for easy of cleaning. They also installed the new SuperSump Sump Pump, and a buried discharge line with the LawnScape Well and IceGuard. Barbara of Dixon, IL tested her home for radon with a charcoal self test kit. She was surprised to find her radon results came back high. Radon gas is the leading cause of cancer in nonsmokers, and a radon mitigation system protects from these harmful gasses. Barbara called MidAmerica Basement Systems and had her home mitigated with the Premium Radon Mitigation System. Now, her home is radon free. 

Ethel and Larry calld MidAmerica Basement Systems because water was coming into their basement, and they were concerned about the damage the water intrusions were causing. They met with design specialist Clayton Spinler who helped them determine the best solution for their basement needs. Amongst the products Clayton proposed were EverLast Wall Restoration Panels to install after the other waterproofing products had been installed. The EverLast Wall Restoration Panels are an inorganic material that won't mold or rot. the panels direct water to the sub-floor drainage system, WaterGuard. Their functionality is a highlight, but they also bring a lot of aesthetic appeal to the basement. 

At a commercial property in Davenport, IA, Keith K. noticed a retaining wall that was starting to lean toward a slab that was supporting a generator and an air conditioning unit. The entrance to Hillcrest Church is located at the top of a stoop. Over time, the stoop has sunk and cracked, making the entrance unsafe. MidAmerica Basement Systems were reached to help repair the issue. PolyLevel was injected into the stoop to help lift and level the sunken areas. After the stoop was once again level, NexusPro Joint Sealant was applied to the crack. The entrance to the Hillcrest Church in Davenport, Iowa is once again level and safe for visitors to enter and exit thanks to the injection of PolyLevel and permanent sealing of NexusPro.

Angeline had recently purchased a new home that had previously installed a sump pump. After the last heavy rain, she grew concern with the loud noises it kept making. She reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems and called for an inspection. Service technician Scott had arrived check her system, after the evaluation, he addressed to her that the pump had worn down from years of use. He properly replaced the old sump with a new M53 and also proposed an UltraSump. The UltraSump is a battery back-up system that ensure the pump continues to work during power outages, keeping the basement from flooding.

In the past, Kathy had her crawlspace encapsulated with CleanSpace, keeping the area moisture free and discharging the water threw her existing pump. She began noticing water accumulating in her crawlspace once again and quickly reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. Jay was wanting his driveway leveled, but was unsure if the task could be completed since his driveway was on a slope. When he reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems he was hoping for a solution that would work. Design Specialist, Joe, offered him the solution of PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a lightweight solution that has immediate reactions, to prevent the solution for slanting downhill. PolyLevel fills the voids under the concrete, then expands to lift and level the area. The quick cure time of the solution allows for the driveway to become level in as little as a day, allowing for full access to the area. Jay once again has a leveled driveway thanks to the PolyLevel solution.

Zahida was concerned with the unlevel areas of her patio, for it was posing tripping threats to her and her guests. She contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the area injected with PolyLevel to level the area. Small injection ports were installed along the concrete patio to inject PolyLevel. Once PolyLevel was injected, the area became leveled once again, reducing the tripping hazards are making it safe the everyone to access. Zahida was also offered a NexusPro Joint Sealant to be applied along all the cracks. NexusPro is a flexible seal that allows for movement during the cold and warm months, creating a seal that is longer lasting than typical cement sealant. NexusPro also helps divert water away from the cracks, protecting the ground underneath, for a longer lasting leveled patio.

Dion was looking to rent out his additional home, but knew that his had to address the leaking basement first. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement System to have a waterproofing system installed. Design expert Mike, offered him a WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and TripleSafe system. Weep holes were drilled into the foundation walls to better allow water into the home. Once the weep holes were drilled, CleanSpace was installed over top the holes to prevent water from surfacing to the floor. WaterGuard was than installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect and redirect the water to the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe properly discharges all water out of the home, leaving it dry. Now Dion has a rental property that is safe for future tenants.

Jared was having issues with his basement still seeping water when it rained, even though he had a waterproofing system. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to see what was happening with his current system and how it could be resolved. It was noted that the old drainage system had clogged, causing the water seepage, and was offered a new drainage system called WaterGuard. The StakWel Egress window systems offer the proper safety codes required for the basement, and also allow for more natural light into the area. The stackable shells also allow for a variation of heights to be reached, while offering the appropriate emergency steps for easy safety escapes.

Collin has a rental property that he would like to rent out to others but knew he needed to undergo a bowing wall repair. He also needed to ensure that the quality of the air in the home was safe enough to have renters, so he conducted a radon test. During inspection, 3 of the 4 walls were bowing, and a PowerBrace and GeoLock Wall Anchors systems were installed to permanently stabilize and stop the walls from worsening. The I-Beam system has a patented tightening system that allows for the system to be tightened to offer the possibility to straighten the walls over time.
