Guy and Theresa of Morton, IL called MidAmerica Basement Systems when they noticed they had water coming in through the floor and wall joints of their basement. Every time it rained, water would seep into Mike’s home. He had a sump pump, but it was only effective when the water made it to the sump pump. He was having issues with water puddling and pooling around the foundation floor, because the water had no way to get to the sump pump. MidAmerica Basement Systems came to the rescue with the installation of WaterGuard. WaterGuard is designed to help direct water to the sump pump, rather than pooling on the floor. Mike’s basement no longer has a water pooling or puddling issue thanks to WaterGuard from MidAmerica Basement Systems.
Jim has had a couple of different companies come and level his driveway, all having the same result, unsolved problem. He had heard of the new injection technology offered by MidAmerica Basement Systems and was ready to try the system before resorting to new poured concrete. Due to the previous mudjacking attempts from other companies, the soil under the concrete kept compressing from the heavy weight of the slurry. PolyLevel is a lightweight polyurethane product that lifts and levels concrete, without the stress that slurry places on the soil. PolyLevel has not only restored Jim’s driveway, but provided him a more permanent solution to his initial problem.

Karen has a crawlspace that continues to have standing water in it when it rains. Tired of having to pump the water out every time she decided to look for a company to solve this problem. Through her search on the internet she found MidAmerica Basement Systems and decided to call and learn more.
Through her short time on the phone, she was very pleased and agreed to set up a free estimate with Kevin Coakley, a trained design specialist. After a thorough inspection of the crawlspace Kevin decided the best option for the area was to install a full perimeter of Smart Pipe drainage channel. This channel is buried under the dirt and directs the water to the SmartSump pumping system, which was also installed. The SmartSump is a small sump pump made just for crawlspaces because of the lack of space. The SmartSump will pump the water out of the house through a discharge line which will take the water a safe distance from the home. CleanSpace was also installed; this product is a tarp like material that encapsulates the entire crawlspace to help with the water problem and also give the space a much cleaner look when completed.
Karen loves the fact that she no longer has to pump water out of her crawlspace every time it rains. She is able to use her crawlspace to her convenience and could not be happier with the work done by MidAmerica Basement Systems.
Payne and Teresa were having structural issues in their home, which they were trying to sell. They saw MidAmerica Basement Systems at the Peoria Home Show and decided to give them a call.

The homeowner of this basement in Morton wanted the space waterproofed and wanted to replace the old sump pump. The homeowner reached out to the team at MidAmerica Basement Systems and an expert was sent out to the residence where the basement was inspected and the homeowner was given an estimate, all for free. The project was soon underway. The team installed FlowGuard around the perimeter. FlowGuard is appropriate for thin applications, meaning that the foundation floor is somewhat thinner than average. CleanSpace waterproofing system is fitted onto the foundation walls and traps water/vapor behind the liner. The SuperSump was installed in place of the old, out dated system. The SuperSump comes with an airtight lid, efficient cast iron pump, ClesanPump stand, and WaterWatch alarm that is designed to alert the homeowner of potential flooding in the system.

Homeowner Dennis recently contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to learn more about Basement Waterproofing. After a full inspection of the inside and the outside of the home, they decided to have a full perimeter waterproofing system installed in the home. WaterGuard is added to all of the exterior walls along with a TripleSafe sump pump. The WaterGuard is similar to a channeling system that moves the water to the sump pump. The TripleSafe sump pump is a three pump system that comes with a battery back up and a WaterWatch alarm. The battery back up is used to keep the system running in case of power loss and the WaterWatch alarm is used to make sure that the water in the sump pump does not get too high and will sound when the sump pump has too much water in it and the pumps cannot keep up.
Homeowner, Daniel was experiencing issues with his basement walls. After taking a closer look at them he noticed that one of his walls has started bowing. He decided it was time to call in the experts to fix his problem, MidAmerica Basement Systems. A Design Specialist came out to take a look at his wall and recommended the best solution to fix the problem, Geolock Wall Anchor System.
The Geolock Wall Anchor System permanently stabilizes your foundation wall back to its original position. This is a great solution if the customer has a lot of space behind the basement wall. The Geolock Wall Anchor is installed by placing heavy-duty earth anchors in stable soil under the foundation of the wall, the anchor is then connected to a steel wall plate attached to a long galvanized rod. The rods are embedded in the soil, so they will not be seen. Once the system is installed there is no further tightening needed, but the system can be tightened during dry-seasons allowing the wall to improve and become completely straight over time.
Installer, John was able to come out and install the Geolock Wall Anchor System for Daniel in his home. After the installation was complete, Daniel can now have his basement back and not have to worry about what could have happened if he did not fix the bowing wall!

A Design Specialist came out to the homeowner's home to give them the best recommendation that would permanently stabilize the wall, a PowerBrace.
A PowerBrace beam is installed against a foundation wall by bolting the brace to the floor slab below and to the ceiling beam above to stop the wall from bowing further inward. This installation is perfect for homes that have limited access to the exterior foundation walls, an example would be property lines, landscaping, and other structures.
