This whole slab of concrete of a Sherrard, IL driveway had become completely uneven. The PolyLevel system changed that right around and made the slab even again by lifting it back up.

Rick was noticing some issues with his driveway sinking, causing the entrance into the garage to be rough. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his driveway mudjacked. Instead of mudjacking, he was offered PolyLevel. PolyLevel uses similar techniques to mudjacking, but with more affective and longer-lasting results. Small 3/8th inch holes are drilled to inject the high-density polymers. Once injected, voids become filled, and then expand to lift and level the concrete. The once 2-inch drop, is now level again with PolyLevel.

Homeowners John and Kathy contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems when they were having water issue in the basement of their home. When the waterproofing crew began the work on their home they discovered that the floor of their home had a very large void under it. To make sure that the waterproofing was successful they needed to have the void filled with PolyLevel foam to make sure that the floor was stable enough to handle the waterproofing project. Small ports are injected into the slab and then the foam is pumped under the slab.

  • Mold-Resistant, No-Sag suspended ceiling
  • Modular carpet, tile & faux wood flooring

Unlike the average Sherrard contractor, we use completely inorganic, waterproof materials. Even if the basement floods, your walls and floors will not be damaged by the water. These waterproof products are patented and are built to create an attractive finished basement that lasts a lifetime.

Mid America Basement Systems installed a basement waterproofing system in our house for the previous owners. We cut a walkout door from the basement last year and now are interested in getting steps and a retaining wall built on either side to lead from the door up into the yard, with proper drainage behind the walls, etc. I thought perhaps you would be a good fit for this project as we would likely want to connect the draining to the sump / waterproofing system.

Have a 12' long by 8' tall cinderblock wall that is bowing inward. Another wall 15'×8' that has cracks but not really bowed. Want quote for repairs and waterproofing.

My basement walls are bowing in no more then 2 inches I was wondering how much I was to put I beams in or how much you guys cost per beam?
Project Location: Sherrard, IL
Hello. We were wondering what it would cost to put in an egress window. Thank you.

Wet basement.heavy rains cause basement to flood.
Project Location: Sherrard, IL
We have water heaving through the basement floor. Most of the water in the neighborhood runs through our back yard during heavy rains and the sheer volume is too much for the ground tile to handle. The sump pump is able to keep up but it has to run constantly. If the pump were to fail we would have 12" of water easy.
Project Location: Sherrard, IL
I have a basement that is seeping water in from a couple different walls. It is not a major leak but never the less, is leaking water. Wouldn't be a big issue but half my basement is finished with carpet so I need to figure out how to eliminate the water all together. When I bought the house the person before said they had part of the house drain tiled and dug up. I think he was a DIYer and I don't think he did it right. He put a black plastic around one end of the house and I am pretty sure that what he used was not designed for what he used it for.
