A EverLast Window will provide her with the proper seal from the outside elements, helping prevent water from seeping in the window sill. CleanSpace was installed on the foundation walls to prevent moisture from entering into the basement, and guiding the moisture towards the WaterGuard. WaterGuard is a drainage system that collects water and moisture and directs it to the TripleSafe sump. Now Sylvia has a dry basement and no longer worries when it rains.

Carol was having issues with cracks forming on her basement walls and it drew concern. It was proposed that a GeoLock Wall Anchor system be installed to resolve the problem. Galvanized steel rods are drilled through the foundation and into the ground to be anchored for proper stabilizing support. Once the wall plate is placed over the rod, the Wall Anchors are tightened to exert the precise pressure on the wall. Due to the tightening system, it allows for the wall to potentially straighten over time, while stabilizing the rest of the home.

James and Carol were concerned about a bowing wall in their basement and called MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the wall looked at. During the inspection, Joe had begun talking about the issue with not only one, but three of the basement foundation walls. He suggested installing a Wall Anchor system for the bowing walls. The Wall Anchor is drilled through the wall’s foundation, and is anchored to GeoLocks located on the outside of the home, permanently stabilizing the foundation.
