The Construction Crew Member helps the Foreman bring each job to completion, while working with quality, efficiency, and safety to ensure our homeowners have a remarkable experience with our company. As a Crew Member, you'll play a key role in the future of our team. You’ll be instrumental in impacting homeowner’s lives by solving the most serious foundation and/or concrete issues with their home, all while providing customers with a remarkable experience. Your Impact:
Loading and organizing the work truck before leaving the warehouse, ensuring everything needed is on the truck
Unloading the work truck once on the job site
Demolition, carrying of products/tools/equipment
Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools
Performs high quality installations, helping to move job progress to an on-time completion
Follows directions from the Foreman and Co-Foreman
Cleans job site at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored
Provides a remarkable experience for homeowners and crew
Performs other duties as assigned
What You Provide:
Basic knowledge of construction or related trades
Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions
Has basic understanding and skill in operating hand tools and power tools
Ability to operate a phone/apps/tablet
Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive for the company
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ambitious and results-oriented
Team player
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; prior construction experience preferred, general familiarity with hand and power tools required.
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and necessary stamina to complete jobs
Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds frequently
Must be able to work in all weather conditions
Must be able to stand and walk up to eight hours per day and climb multiple sets of stairs while carrying materials and products weighing between 40 and 70 pounds
Must be able to work some Saturdays when needed
Must be able to travel out of town and overnight regularly
Ability to move about and move to/from and work from the floor level or in crawl spaces
