Egress Window Transformation in Morrison, IL

When rain hits Morrison, Illinois, the last thing any homeowner wants is a basement that doubles as a collection pool. The "before" photo tells a familiar story: moisture seeping through the foundation and creating a persistent headache for the folks living above it. Dealing with a damp subterranean space is a drain on both your peace of mind and your property value, but these are exactly the kinds of challenges we’ve built our reputation on solving throughout the Midwest.

We stepped in to overhaul the area by installing a SunHouse Enclosure, a specialized solution designed to seal out the elements while adding a much-needed layer of protection to the home's exterior access points. As you can see in the "after" shot, the transformation is about more than just aesthetics; it is about creating a bone-dry environment that stays that way regardless of the forecast. It’s another successful project in the books, proving once again that the right foundation expertise can turn a compromised basement back into a functional, reliable part of the home.

Improved Egress Window System for a Cedar Rpaids Home

The homeowner wanted to make an improvement on the old window system in the basement. The old window was made of metal and with time rusted. If the system rusts than the basic function of the window is compromised. The new Egress system are made of vinyl so no rusting. The window is also double paneled argon filled which will help to prevent air in or out of the basement, saving the homeowner money on their energy bills. The windows can actually be removed from inside (to allow for cleaning or allow for an easier exit if need be). These homeowners are happy to have made the change for a window system that is safer, better looking, and will save them some money!
