We got a lot of water coming into our sump pit. I have to have 2 3/4 sump pumps running to keep up. We have been getting debris in the pit causing our pumps to clog and flood our basement. We sent a water sample to the city and there is chlorine in the water so there's a possible water line leak coming in which doesn't help us. I just need help figuring out what we can do to stop the debris and get a nice sealed pit put in place so when we get heavy rains, I'm not worrying about it flooding.

We have an old limestone foundation (1890 house). Our interior basement walls are a red clay tile that we've noticed are damp and crumbling in areas, especially around the old chimney. We would like someone with masonry experience to assess and seal the walls to prevent further deterioration. Also interested in tuck pointing or waterproofing of limestone foundation and crawl space if needed. Thank you!
