Challenge

James lives near the river and always seems to have an issue with water seeping in his basement. He contacted the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems to see what solutions they had to solve his wet basement. Water would seep in through the floor and wall joints and throughout the cracks on the floor. During heavy rains and high waters, it seemed to be constant leaking, always making for a large mess.

Solution

Design Specialist Mac, inspected the situation and offered James a permanent basement waterproofing system. LateralDrains and WaterGuard were offered to collect the seeping water from the floor, preventing it from surfacing, and to have it redirect to a TripleSafe sump. The TripleSafe sump was installed in the lowest area of the basement to help keep the flow of the water effective. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to help control the humidity and moisture levels in the basement, keeping the area dry from the seeping water. Thanks to the working systems, James no longer worries about water seeping into his basement.
