Challenge
Rick was having issues with his sump pump. During large rainfalls, his system would overwork itself and become backed up, leaving his basement flooded. Rick was finally fed up with having to clean his basement and reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have a new sump pump installed.
Solution
During inspection, it was also suggested that he have CleanSpace and WaterGuard installed. CleanSpace would help protect the basement from moisture that was seeping in from the old foundation. At the base of the CleanSpace, WaterGuard was installed to collect any moisture that would enter, and also collect any groundwater that seeped in the base of the walls, and direct it to the new sump. A SuperSump was installed to replace the old, weak sump. For extra safety, an UltraSump battery back-up was installed for power outages. Rick no longer has to worry about heavy rainfalls.
