Challenge
Longtime homeowner, Joan, of 50 years recently had been having water seeping into the basement, creating puddles. Joan has never had this problem before and it’s the first time she has experienced this issue, so she wants it fixed and not have to worry about it again. Our Design specialist, Joe Sarb had the pleasure of helping Joan with her troubles. He assessed the home and set Joan up with the proper fix, WaterGuard, CleanSpace, Triplesafe Pump and SaniDry Sedona.
Solution
With our WaterGuard System, Joan can be assured that water will be kept from puddling out into the basement. WaterGuard System is a specially-designed piping system engineered specifically to be a very efficient, long-lasting interior perimeter basement waterproofing system. In conjunction with our Waterguard System, our foreman, Oscar Munoz installed a TripleSafe Pump to make sure the basement always stays dry. TripleSafe has 3 pumps in total: 2 AC powered pump and 1 DC Powered pump to help keep basement dry in case of a power outage. To help keep water vapor from seeping in through the walls, we installed our CleanSpace Wall System: a heavy, durable plastic liner (like a pool liner) for lining the walls. It also drains water behind it and dramatically brightens the basement. To top it off and get rid of that damp basement feel and musky odors, our SaniDry Sedona was installed. SaniDry Sedona is the world’s most efficient high-performance dehumidifier and filtration system and comes in a small size to take up less space in your basement.
