John has lived in his home for the last 16 years and has had a problem with his basement since 2006. In John’s basement he was concerned with water and bowing walls. The water is responsible for a collapsed wall on the back side of his home. Though he is unsure what he wanted to do with the space, he knows that he wants his home to be safe from water and the risks that could potentially come with water in his home. Along with water in his basement he was concerned with the bowing walls. Bowing walls are a serious structural problem and if they are not addressed quickly they can be very dangerous. After speaking with Design Specialist Mac McDaniel, he was very interested in having a WaterGuard Systems and a TripleSafe sump pump installed for Waterproofing his basement. For the bowing walls, he had CarbonArmors installed. The WaterGuard is an underground piping system that helps keep your basement dry. The TripleSafe sump pump is a three-pump system that comes with a battery backup and a WaterWatch Alarm. CarbonArmors are a wall reinforcement system that stabilizes your basement walls, restoring their value and integrity. The CarbonArmor is a fiber-reinforced polymer that is 10 times stronger than steel and designed for basement walls.
