Laveta from Metamora called the professionals at MidAmerica basement Systems in regards to her mother's basement. She explained that her mother's finished basement had one side of the basement that seemed to get wet after heavy storms. Laveta further explained that water was coming in from bottom of wall and possibly up from the foundation floor. The team resolved the problems by installing WaterGuard as the perimeter drainage system and constructed a lateral to relieve hydrostatic pressure from the floor. The lateral will laso help direct the wall leaks/rising ground water to the local sump pump. Now Laveta's mother can finish her basement with fewer worries of further water damage from this area of the basement.
