James uses his basement for an extra room for entertainment. One day after a large amount of rain, he was noticing that his basement walls were leaking, putting his possessions in danger. He quickly contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his problem addressed. During inspection, it was suggested that James had a second sump pump and new drainage system installed to address the leaking foundation walls. The current pump was worn out and needed to be replaced if he wanted it to properly work. A SuperSump was also installed to have the proper sump pump capacity for his basement. WaterGuard was installed about the perimeter of his basement to collect any water that was seeping in from the walls, and direct it to the sump pumps. ThermalDry Wall was installed around the perimeter of the walls to provide a barrier between the leaking walls and the rest of the basement. ThermalDry Wall also helps keep heat in and cool air out, acting as an insulator. James’ possessions are now properly protected, and can continue using his basement for entertaining.
