ZenWall are inorganic panels that insulate and waterproof walls. ZenWall is also a simple way to create a dry, finished look to the space. ThermalDry tile flooring in sandstone are the all plastic, all inorganic flooring that will never be damaged by water or water vapor.

Robert H. of Cedar falls called the team at MidAmerica Basement Systems for help with both his basement and crawl space needs. He explained that he had general problems with water leaking in the basement and general dampness in the crawl space. He noticed water seepage through a few different areas along with some vertical cracks. Robert was also interested renovating the entire basement and wanted to add an egress window.

To waterproof the crawl space the team installed a CleanSpace liner to encapsulate the space, sealed the vents and SmartDrain to prevent pooling water. To waterproof the basement, the team installed a TripleSafe sump pump and the perimeter drainage system, WaterGuard. To keep humidity levels low, SaniDry XP was installed and to keep the basement warm, the team insulated the both spaces with SilverGlo.

Our team then installed the ScapeWEL egress window system. To finish the basement, the experts installed ZenWall and BrightWall to the walls for a clean finished look and for the basement floor, ThermalDry tile flooring. Robert not only has a dryer, healthier space but one that is also beautiful and bright!
