Project Info
Dave’s home was reaching high levels of Radon, some areas reaching as high as 10 pCi/L, and knew that without reducing the levels, serious health hazards would continue to build for him and his family. During evaluation of Dave’s home, it was addressed that for an effect mitigation system to be installed, the crawlspace must first be encapsulated. CleanSpace Drainage Matting and CleanSpace were placed in the crawlspace, creating a seal from the dirt ground and rest of the home. After the home was sealed off, a Radon Mitigation system was installed. The CleanSpace prevents the Radon from seeping into the home, and the mitigation system withdraws the Radon from the dirt. Dave and his family now have safer air to breathe inside their home.
