Before the system was installed, the basement was still exposed to the posibility of water intrusion. 
The lateral drainage system empties into the sump pump, and stops water before it enters the interior.  
The gravel keeps the water moving through the lateral drains. 
The system is recovered with concrete. 
The laterals and the WaterGuard have been installed in the Roseville basement.
