Weak, light-duty jack posts provide support for sagging floors, but only offer a temporary solution to the problem. For a permanent solution, SmartJacks use galvanized steel columns that are precisely cut for each unique home. A SmartJack system id designed to hold more than 60,000 pounds, outlasting the store-bought jacks, to lift, level and support the floors, walls and rest of the home’s structure. Weakened soils, which are the main cause of the sinking floors, are dug and replaced with concrete or tightly-compacted crushed stone, to provide the proper stability needed for the home’s support.
