Carlos the Cat: A Valued Team Member

Here at MidAmerica Basement Systems we have acquired a new team member. He is not the typical hire, actually he wasn’t hired at all. He is not a design specialist, service technician, or production member. His name is Carlos. He’s a cat.

Carlos was a stray cat that would always come around the building. Eventually Clayton, our shop foreman, decided to invite him in. Carlos was a very slim, almost sick looking and was in need of some help.  Clayton took him in to get shots and get the proper nutrition help. That was over a year ago and he is now a healthy, loveable cat.  He has become a mascot of sorts and everyone who works at MidAmerica Basement Systems knows who Carlos is.

Carlos will be catching his big break, his moment of fame, when the decal of one of the new Production vehicles is complete. Carlos will be featured on the truck, right next to Otto, the original Basement Systems mascot.

Although he probably does not know it, Carlos is a valued member of the MidAmerica Basement Systems team.
