Homeowner Wayne has lived in his 1980's home since it was built. He was interested in PolyLevel technology that MidAmerica Basement Systems offers. They wanted the project to be completed quickly and done with care. The PolyLevel is a foam that is injected under the concrete slab and lifts and levels. The PolyLevel and hardens and expands under the slab to bring it back to its former place.
Amana, IA homeowners, Emma and Howard, called MidAmerica Basement Systems because they had water coming in through the floor and wall joints of their home. Their damp basement needed to be waterproofed. Emma and Howard met with design specialist Bryan Nachazel, who custom designed a solution for their wet basement problem.
Foreman Justin Reger and his team installed the custom solution. Bryan proposed a partial perimeter WaterGuard system to keep water out of the problem area on the east wall. The system would drain into the existing sump pump. He also recommended sealing the crack in the wall, to keep the water from coming in through the wall. Now, Emma and Howard's basement is dry and they couldn't be happier.
