Rick had an older home with a leaking foundation. Due to the leaking, the basement always had a musty odor coming from it. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to see what kind of solution they could set for him. Rick was offered the CleanSpace Liner along the leaking wall. CleanSpace is a thick “pool-like” liner that will help reduce the moisture levels significantly. With the CleanSpace linking to a WaterGuard system, water and moisture will properly be redirected to a TripleSafe sump. Installing a SaniDry Sedona will complete the new waterproofing system for Rick. The musty odor is no longer an issue for his home.

Damaged Finished Basement Becomes Waterproofed in Amboy, IL

Connie was having issues with water leaking in her basement, causing damage to her finished walls. The plaster that lined the walls had become warped and moldy. She reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have a new water proofing system installed. It was suggested that she replace the old, worn out system with a new TripleSafe sump, and installed WaterGuard and a SaniDry Sedona. WaterGuard helps collect water that seeps in from the walls and under the floor, redirecting it to the new sump, preventing it from surfacing. The SaniDry Sedona helps keep humidity levels under control, reducing the moisture to help prevent future mold growth. To fix the walls, EverLast Wall Paneling was installed. The panels offer a waterproof material that will withstand leaking walls, so future warping and mold will not happen.
