|Why Choose Us?
Foundation problems destroy your Iowa County home’s value and can be dangerous. Our in-house team of structural and geo-technical engineers are here to help. We design and install the right solution and usually have the project finished in less than a week. You will have peace of mind as we provide a 25-year written warranty against defects on our foundation products.
The sunken and cracked concrete around your Iowa County home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled in the concrete, the foam is injected and the expanding foam lifts the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, require larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel. Call us today to learn more.

Victor and Jodi M. had multiple cracks in their driveway and were tired of the settlement. They decided to call the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for a free estimate.
The PolyLevel system, as described by design specialist Bryan Christopherson, was exactly what Victor and Jodi wanted. The PolyLeveling system is a unique process of injecting foam underneath the concrete to raise it up to its original position. This is done very carefully to insure that the process is done correctly.
Victor and Jodi M. are very pleased to have their driveway back to the way it was. They would recommend MidAmerica Basement Systems to anyone with settling problems.
Randy W. of North English, IA needed his driveway returned to its original position because as it sat, it was a tripping hazard, and made for a rough transition for vehicles to come in and out of the garage. Wisely, he contacted the local experts.
Soon, MidAmerica Basement Systems design specialist, Kiel, was out to the property to help Randy understand how PolyLevel foam would give him the best results. Foreman Levi Freund and his team raised the slab to leave homeowner, Randy W., happy with the smooth transition.
Amana, IA homeowners, Emma and Howard, called MidAmerica Basement Systems because they had water coming in through the floor and wall joints of their home. Their damp basement needed to be waterproofed. Emma and Howard met with design specialist Bryan Nachazel, who custom designed a solution for their wet basement problem.
Foreman Justin Reger and his team installed the custom solution. Bryan proposed a partial perimeter WaterGuard system to keep water out of the problem area on the east wall. The system would drain into the existing sump pump. He also recommended sealing the crack in the wall, to keep the water from coming in through the wall. Now, Emma and Howard's basement is dry and they couldn't be happier.
Trent was out doing yard work when he noticed a large foundation crack by his basement window. He was very concerned that it would leak causing damage to his finished basement. Members of MidAmerica Basement Systems proactively installed a Polyurethane Crack Injection to seal the crack. The Polyurethane Sealant is a high-viscosity polyurethane polymer that gets deep into the cracks, forms to the crack, and provides a durable, flexible seal, preventing water from entering the crack and into the basement. Trent can now rest easy, knowing that his basement will not be ruined from water entering the foundation crack.
Jim had begun noticing foundation cracking on his basement walls, and quickly contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems. The experts evaluated his situation and presented him with a GeoLock Wall Anchor system. The GeoLock Anchors cover twice as more ground to provide a permanent stabilization for the wall. The GeoLock system also allows for the system to be tightened over time, allowing for Jim’s walls to potentially be brought back to their original state.
A small foundation crack had appeared in Jose’s basement, making a quick call to MidAmerica Basement Systems before it could get any worse. To prevent the wall from bowing inward anymore, a CarbonArmor system was installed. The carbon strip offers a 10 times stronger hold than typical steel, ensuring that the wall will not worsen over time. Assisting the CarbonArmor is a ArmorLock system. The ArmorLock anchors the CarbonArmor to the wall and prevents the rest of the home from tipping inward. The sleek design of the strip doesn’t take up any room, allowing for the crewmen to install it just about anywhere without disrupting any piping or other obstacles that other bowing wall systems might encounter.
