Radon is a colorless, odorless, tasteless, radioactive gas that can lead to lung cancer over long periods of concentrated exposure. Radon is found outside and inside, but can have high concentrated levels indoors. Testing for Radon levels is very important, and only takes a matter of 2-3 days to test. The large GeoLock Anchors were placed on the outside of her home deep in the ground to provide the proper counter act on the inward bowing wall. Once the plates were installed on the inside of the wall, the system was tightened to ensure the wall would not bow anymore inward. The GeoLock Wall Anchor system also offers the potential to tighten and straighten the wall over time, reducing the bow completely.

This new homeowner is frustrated that she bought a recently built home that is having water leaks in the basement through cracks on poured-in concrete foundation. She is hoping to finish her basement at some point, so it is very important for her to have a dry basement and to take care of the problem now before it gets worse.
