Teana has always had a drainage and sump pump system to address the leaking area in her basement, that was before she had issues with other areas leaking. She reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the leaking areas address. She was offered a whole new perimeter system called WaterGuard. WaterGuard is installed under the concrete floor to prevent water from surfacing, and helped redirect the water to the sump pump. Her current system was installed on top of the floor, which allows for more moisture to enter the air, increasing the humidity levels, and some areas even grew mold due to improper water flow to the sump pump.

Teana was beginning to notice water seeping in under her basement stairs and quickly contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems. She had told them that during large rain amount, water would begin to pool, leaving a large mess for her to clean up. It was suggested that she have a SuperSump and WaterGuard installed to prevent water from collecting at her stairwell. WaterGuard helped collect any water that would seep in, stopping it from surfacing, and directed the water to the SuperSump. With the WaterGuard and SuperSump working together, water no longer surfaces and pools at the bottom of Teana’s stairs.
