Foundation problems such as bowing foundation walls destroy your Washington home’s value and can be dangerous. Our in-house team of structural and geo-technical engineers are here to help. We design and install the right solution and usually have the project finished in less than a week. You will have peace of mind as we provide a 25-year written warranty against defects on our foundation products.
The sunken and cracked concrete around your Washington home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse, but we can fix it for you.
Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam. Small holes are drilled in the concrete, the foam is injected and the expanding foam lifts the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, require larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel. Karen has a crawlspace that continues to have standing water in it when it rains. Tired of having to pump the water out every time she decided to look for a company to solve this problem. Through her search on the internet she found MidAmerica Basement Systems and decided to call and learn more.
Through her short time on the phone, she was very pleased and agreed to set up a free estimate with Kevin Coakley, a trained design specialist. After a thorough inspection of the crawlspace Kevin decided the best option for the area was to install a full perimeter of Smart Pipe drainage channel. This channel is buried under the dirt and directs the water to the SmartSump pumping system, which was also installed. The SmartSump is a small sump pump made just for crawlspaces because of the lack of space. The SmartSump will pump the water out of the house through a discharge line which will take the water a safe distance from the home. CleanSpace was also installed; this product is a tarp like material that encapsulates the entire crawlspace to help with the water problem and also give the space a much cleaner look when completed.
Karen loves the fact that she no longer has to pump water out of her crawlspace every time it rains. She is able to use her crawlspace to her convenience and could not be happier with the work done by MidAmerica Basement Systems.
Cory F. of Washington, IL was very happy with his waterproofing system from MidAmerica Basement Systems. He had a partial WaterGuard system installed along with a new sump pump and a few other items in 2015. However, the partial WaterGuard system kept the basement dry where it was installed to do so. On the other side of the basement, Cory realized his basement would only stay dry, and his home could only be healthy if he finished the system.
He called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for another free estimate. Soon thereafter, he had the rest of the WaterGuard System installed, keeping his basement dry for many years to come. Cory is very happy to have peace of mind.
Gary H. of Washington, IL called MidAmerica Basement Systems after another MidAmerica Basement Systems referred him. Gary had water coming up through the floors of his basement. He met with design specialist Dan Garner.
Dan advised Gary to have a full perimeter WaterGuard sub-floor drainage system installed, along witha powerful SuperSump Sump Pump, along with a buried discharge line. Foreman Mike Clementz and his team came out to perform the work to help Gary accomplish his goal of having a dry basement. Now that Gary has the desired dry basement, he is very happy.
Dave and Linda, Washington, IL homeowners, were surprised to find water coming into their basement through the walls. The homeowners had previously had their crawlspace repaired by MidAmerica Basement Systems, and were very happy with the work, so they knew to call the local experts for their basement waterproofing concerns.
Dave and Linda met with MidAmerica Basement Systems design specialist, Dan Garner. When Dan arrived, he investigated the inside and outside of the property before proposing a basement waterproofing solution that would fit the homeowners' needs. Dan suggested that they have the patented sub-floor drainage system, WaterGuard installed. WaterGuard drains into their existing sump pump. He then recommended having the inorganic, water resistant Everlast Wall Restoration installed to protect the interior from mold and rot due to water intrusion. Dave and Linda are very happy their now dry and beautiful basement.
Josh A. of Washington, IL contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems because he had water getting into his basement through the floor and wall joints despite his existing sump pump. He met with design specialist Dan Garner. Dan recommended installing WaterGuard in the problem areas, and having the WaterGuard drain to the existing sump pump. Josh is now enjoying a finally dry basement!
Jason and Carol of Riverside, IA contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems because they suspected their existing radon mitigation system from another company was failing. The system was very loud, and the large pipe made it impossible for Carol to use the room for a sewing room, as she had originally intended.
Jason and Carol met with design specialist Mac McDaniel, who designed a custom solution for their home and their needs. The new solution put the fan outside the home, and included an exterior aesthetic package. Foreman Bill Wilcox and his team installed the system, and now Jason and Carol are very happy with the system!
Gerald was concerned about his guests’ safety when the entered his home. The stoop steps to his front door had shifted and dropped about 3 inches, and in some areas 4. Having unsafe stairs to walk on produce many issues for him and his guests. Demolition and new poured stairs would cost him a fortune and take weeks to complete. He contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have an estimate on mudjacking. When design specialist Dustin came out, he proposed the new injection technology, PolyLevel. PolyLevel is similar to mudjacking, but more efficient and long-term. PolyLevel offers a lightweight, precise lift of concrete to its original position. Gerald’s concrete steps were leveled and accessible in a single day, allowing for a safe entrance for not only his guests, but himself as well.
Al was having issues with water seeping in the floor and wall joints of his basement every time it rained. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his basement looked at and resolve the problem. It was offered that he have WaterGuard installed around the perimeter of the basement to address the leaking joints. WaterGuard collects water that seeps in from the floor and walls, redirecting it to a TripleSafe sump. With a now waterproofed basement, Al no longer worries of his basement becoming wet. To keep the moisture levels under control, a SaniDry Sedona was also installed.
Susan was having issues with water seeping in through her wall and floor joint in the basement. When she reached out the MidAmerica Basement Systems, experts inspected her home thoroughly. They offered her a WaterGuard system to be placed around the perimeter to collect the seeping water, preventing if from surfacing, and redirects it to a sump system. A SuperSump was also installed to properly discharge the water from the area, leaving Susan’s basement dry once again.
