Joe and Vicki had begun to notice a large foundation crack along a wall in their basement. They reached out to the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems to hopefully have the mysterious crack addressed. During their inspection, design specialist Mike, specified that the crack was caused by the wall bowing. He offered them the solution of CarbonArmor to permanently stop the wall from worsening, and permanently stabilize the wall. The carbon fiber infused fabric bonds tightly with a special epoxy to create a hold that is 10 times stronger than steel, ensuring the wall will not worsen.
Greg was noticing water seeping in his basement but didn’t know where it was coming from. As he investigated more, he found a large foundation crack and quickly reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems for help. As design specialist Chris inspected the crack, he offered him a polyurethane sealant solution. The special polyurethane sealant uses high-viscosity polymers that gets deep into the crack to form the ultimate, flexible bond. Polyurethane injections are more effective than typical hydraulic cements and epoxies because they flex and expand with the natural movement of the foundation during the freeze/thaw and wet/dry cycles. Polyurethane sealants also never dry out, creating a bond that will not allow the crack to become worse over time.
