Every time it would rain, Jen’s garage would become wet, leaving water pooling and puddling. With no place for the water to go, mold started to grow, causing damp and unhealthy conditions. An inspection with Bryan from MidAmerica Basement Systems allowed for the issue to be properly addressed. A TrenchDrain system was installed to collect the water that would enter that garage. There it was properly directed away from the garage, helping keep the garage dry, and preventing the growth of more mold.
Jen was having issues with a wet basement, and had turned her drywall into soggy, warped mess. She contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her basement waterproofed, and during her estimate, Bryan had offered the solution of EverLast Wall Restoration. EverLast Walls are composed of a high density closed-cell foam insulation, making the panels dent, mold, mildew, and water resistant. The panels also offer R-13 insulation (R-value refers to the compacity of insulating material to resist heat flow).
Robert had some concerns about the radon levels in his home and decided it was a good idea to install a radon mitigation system. Radon is a radioactive, colorless, odorless and tasteless noble gas that occurs naturally as radium decays. Radon can be present in and outside of your home. Exposure to radon most commonly comes from being indoors.
Parking lots are high trafficked areas not only with cars, but with people walking as well. Having uneven concrete can pose for high risks of unsafe walking grounds. Marty, the grounds keeper of the business, was concerned for his customers’ safety, and had it brought to attention. He contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to address the unlevel concrete and have PolyLevel injected. PolyLevel lifted the 2-inch-dropped slab, back to it’s original, level state. Now customers can walk in the parking lot, without the worry of tripping hazards.
