Anne was having issue with her crawlspace becoming wet, which than in return made her basement damp. She contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her crawlspace waterproofed. When Chris inspected her situation, he offered her a total crawlspace encapsulation. CleanSpace Drainage Matting was placed along the dirt floor of the crawlspace, and CleanSpace was installed over top and up along the walls of the area, permanently sealing off the ground from the rest of the home. Once the crawlspace was completely sealed off, a SmartSump was installed to collect and discharge any water from the crawlspace. To help address the moisture issue in the basement, a SaniDry Sedona was installed. Anne no longer was a wet crawlspace or a damp basement thanks to help from MidAmerica Basement Systems.
Homeowners David and Wendy recently contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to learn more about the radon. They were concerned about the levels of radon in their home. Radon is a naturally occurring and is the second leading cause of Lung Cancer in the United States. By having a radon mitigation system installed in your home you can make sure that you and your family are safe for years to come.
Jeff didn’t mind rain, unless there were large amounts of rainfall. His sump pump worked fine, but during large amounts, his basement seemed to still become wet in some areas. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his pump looked at. He was offered a WaterGuard system to help prevent water from surfacing during heavy rainfalls. Water collects in WaterGuard and is than redirected to the sump pump where it is properly discharged out of his basement. Thanks to the additional help of WaterGuard, no amount of rain bothers Jeff.
Homeowner Richard has lived in his home for many years. Slowly over time, they noticed that the sidewalk leading to their front door was slowly starting to crack and sink and break away from the front steps. PolyLevel foam is injected under the slab and the foam then expands and hardens lifting and leveling the slab.
The homeowners in Morrison called the MidAmerica Basement Systems team because they were interested in getting new window systems. The team installed EverLast windows and a StakWEL window system. Now the homeowner have a more welcoming space that they can enjoy even more!
