Homeowner, Dan was needing his basement waterproofed. He wanted his basement waterproofed in a way he was still able to use the space for recreational or storage purposes. Design Specialist, Joe was able to recommend to Dan installing Foamax Basement Wall System.
Installer, Mike was able to come out to Dan's home to install the Foamax Basement Wall System. This will make Dan's cold walls more of an inviting space for recreational or storage purposes. Foamax will provide comfort to the space at a reasonable cost. Foamax is an advanced polyisocyanurate foam insulation panel. Wall leaks will be drained to the perimeter to be caught by the WaterGuard System to drain the water safely, unseen away from the basement and basement walls. The panel can be left exposed but can also be covered over to make the walls look more finished.

John and Dorothy were noticing high levels of moisture in their home and decided to purchase a dehumidifier from the hardware store. It didn’t seem to help considering the had to dump the unit 3 times a day. They decided it was time for help, and reached out to the experts of MidAmerica Basement Systems. It was discovered that the main source of the moisture levels was coming from the untreated crawlspace. Water was seeping under the home, and making its way into the rest of the house. CleanSpace was offered to totally encapsulate and permanently seal off the moisture. CleanSpace Drainage Matting was placed along the exposed ground to collect and move the moisture the a SmartDrain. CleanSpace Liner was installed over top the matting and along the walls to permanently seal off the crawlspace from the exposed ground. Any water that entered under the crawlspace was pumped back out through the SmartDrain, keeping the crawlspace dry. John and Dorothy no longer have issues with moisture levels in their home.
Over time the ground underneath concrete begins to settle, causing voids between the ground and concrete. This can than cause the concrete to sink into the void, leaving large spaces between concrete slabs. Mudjacking is a temporary solution, and over time, it causes the same issue. Injecting PolyLevel offers a permanent solution to sunken slabs. The lightweight material offers less weight to the failing soil, preventing future soil settlements. PolyLevel uses an accurate injection that fills the voids, and then lifts, levels, and stabilizes the concrete.

The PolyLevel that we offer is a foam that is injected under the concrete slab the foam fills the void under the slab that was the cause of the sinking. The foam expands and hardens to lift the concrete back to its former position.
