Joe was having doubts about replacing his sinking stair stoop. He knew that the process would take him weeks, and didn’t even want to begin thinking about the cost of repouring them. A friend of his suggested contacting MidAmerica Basement Systems to have the stoop lifted and leveled. Design specialist, Cole, offered Joe the solution of PolyLevel. PolyLevel uses a lightweight material that has a lifting strength of 4,000 pounds per square foot. PolyLevel has a quick cure time that allowed the project to be completed in as little as a day, making the stoop accessible within minutes after injections. The PolyLevel solution allowed Joe to fix his issue in a fraction of the time without breaking the bank.
Trent had high levels of radon in his home and thought that finishing his basement would make the air quality safer. After testing his home once the basement remodel was done, levels were still reaching around 40 pCi/L. Cole, design specialist from MidAmerica Basement Systems, offered him a solution with a radon mitigation system. Crewmen installed the system in less than a day, improving the air quality right away. Trent and his family now have a home with safer air to breathe.
Harry wanted to brighten up the basement and stop water vapor from coming in, causing that damp, musky feel. Our specialist, Chris Riley, installed our CleanSpace System in the homeowner’s basement. Making the basement brighter and stopping water vapor from seeping in through the walls.
Martin and Imelda have a limestone foundation that always leaked but never know how to waterproof it. When they spoke with Dan from MidAmerica Basement Systems, they were finally relieved that there was a solution. CleanSpace is a thick vapor barrier that is place along the walls, permanently sealing them from the rest of the basement. A WaterGuard system was installed along the perimeter of the basement to help collect the seeping wall water and redirect it to a TripleSafe sump pump to be discharged out of the basement. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to help keep humidity and moisture levels in control.
Homeowner Trent was worries about the water in his basement. While he had a sump pump installed, he also decided it was a good time to have a radon mitigation system installed. Radon is the second leading cause to lung cancer in the United States.
