The battery back up is used to ensure that the system continues to run during the loss of power. Along with the TripleSafe sump pump they had a LawnScape Underground Downspout Extension. The LawnScape is a pipe that is buried from the downspout that lets water out onto the surface while camouflaging the end of the pipe.

The great thing about the SaniDry is that there is no need to empty the water out of it, the SaniDry will drain itself. With the SaniDry she also had CleanSpace walls installed. The CleanSpace is a very thick liner that can be used on walls and in crawlspaces to keep water out.
