A SuperSump pump was installed in the middle of the floor because it was the lowest point of the basement. This is odd as usually it is in the corner of the basement but it's important that a sump pump be at the lowest point. It is also connected to a lateral so that the water from the WaterGuard can still reach the SuperSump.
Michelle and Jeremy R. of Solon, IA tested their home for radon, and found that the levels were higher than they would like. They called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems to get a free estimate, and get their home and family protected. Now, they are happy to be breathing much healthier air.
Homeowner Kathy was not happy about the look of the sidewalk over the years. The concrete had shifted and settled, pulling away from her front stoop. She had heard of the new injection technology from MidAmerica Basement Systems, and proceeded to contact them for more information. During evaluation of the sidewalk, it was proposed that PolyLevel be injected under the concrete. PolyLevel uses polymers that accurately lift and raise sunken slabs in a quick process. The lightweight material allows for a more permanent solution than mudjacking, and allows for access of the injected area in as little as 15 minutes. Now Kathy has a sidewalk that is level and properly set against her stoop again.
Old, cracked, and dingy windows made Jim’s basement dark and unpleasant. He wanted to bring more natural light into his basement to brighten the mood, and had heard of the SunHouse Window Wells from MidAmerica Basement Systems. SunHouse have a bright white casing wells allowing for maximum natural light reflection into the basement. They also provide a covered well that prevents water and debris from entering the sill. SunHouse Window Wells are the best way to natural brighten your basement that is maintenance free for you.
Homeowner Maureen has lived in her home since 2005. In the last two years, she has noticed that the driveway and sidewalk to her home were cracking and sinking. It was an eyesore and also very dangerous. Polyurethane foam is injected under the slabs. The foam fills the voids under the slab that causes the sinking and cracking. The foam expands under the slab and hardens lifting and leveling the slab. After the slabs are level the cracks are filled with NexusPro the NexusPro is used to fill the cracks and also allow them, to move and grow with the seasons.
