Solution
Upon a detailed professional inspection, our team identified a significant leaking crack in one of the foundation walls. To address both the active leaks and the high humidity levels, we designed a comprehensive waterproofing system tailored to the home’s specific needs.
We implemented a multi-layered defense strategy to manage water flow and ensure long-term dryness:
- BrightWall® Vapor Barrier: This rigid plastic paneling was installed over the leaking wall. It serves a dual purpose: acting as a clean, bright aesthetic upgrade and a vapor barrier that directs wall seepage downward.
- WaterGuard® Drainage System: To capture the water guided by the BrightWall—as well as seepage from the floor-wall joint—we installed the WaterGuard sub-floor drainage track. This "invisible" system stays out of the "mud zone" to prevent clogging.
- SuperSump® System: All collected water is channeled into the SuperSump premier sump pump. Engineered for reliability, this unit effectively discharges the water out of the home and away from the foundation.
