Challenge
The basement suffered from classic groundwater intrusion. Water was entering through the wall-floor joint, creating "unwanted pools" that threatened any potential drywall, flooring, or furniture. Additionally, the subterranean air was heavy with humidity, which would have inevitably led to mold growth and musty odors in a finished living space.
Solution
Our System Design Specialist performed a comprehensive evaluation and designed a "managed moisture" system. The goal was to create a dry, conditioned environment that could support high-end finishing materials.
