Challenge
Stuart and Angie B. of Cedar Rapids noticed that every time it rained, their basement leaked. It had ruined their carpet and walls, but didn’t know where the leaking was coming from. Upon inspection from MidAmerica Basement Systems, the crew pointed out to the homeowners that their foundation had settled, which caused a crack all around the home.
Solution
MidAmerica Basement Systems got right to work and installed CarbonArmor all around the crack to prevent any more damage. CarbonArmor will not completely stop leakage in the basement, so a TripleSafe Sump Pump and WaterGuard System were installed to direct and discharge any water that may seep into the basement. Basements are usually cold from being built in the ground, so to insulate the basement, Crew members installed SilverGlo. To bring the basement back to livable space, Basement to Beautiful Panels were installed, along with ThermalDry Tile Flooring. Now Stuart and Angie can get back to using their basement for entertaining without the worry of water leaking and ruining their valuables again.
