From Mountain Range to Smooth Walkway: A Davenport Concrete Rescue!

Once the homeowners reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems, our Customer Care Specialist swung into action to get them on the schedule. Enter System Design Specialist Toney Genova, who brought his superhero toolbelt of expertise straight to the scene.

After a thorough assessment, Toney diagnosed the issue. The verdict? Those sinking, rebellious slabs were crying out for a lift and some heavy-duty joint sealing. He designed a customized plan using our favorite dynamic duo: PolyLevel® and NexusPro®.

On installation day, Foreman Chris Allen and crew member Markell arrived ready to roll. While they tried to "tiptoe" onto the scene, let’s be honest—it’s pretty hard to stay under the radar in our bright, hi-vis vests!

The crew got right to work executing Toney's design:

• The Lift: Chris and Markell injected our PolyLevel® system beneath the sunken slabs. This high-strength polyurethane foam expands rapidly, gently lifting the concrete back to its original position and filling the empty voids below. (Let’s just say it’s the stuff under-concrete dreams are made of!)
• The Seal: Next up, they used NexusPro® joint sealant to lock everything into place, cramming those ugly cracks shut tighter than an old winter parka after a massive holiday dinner.

And voila! The outcome was beautifully leveled concrete surfaces and incredibly happy homeowners who can finally wave goodbye to driveway Olympic trials.
