Photo Album: Orion, IL CleanSpace Encapsulation for a Crawl Space

These Orion, IL homeowners had a musty, damp crawlspace that needed some attention. They called their local experts, MidAmerica Basement Systems, for an evaluation. Soon after, design specialist Mike Banks provided them with a customized solution. Foreman Kyle McCarty installed the encapsulation, giving the homeowners peace of mind that their crawl space would be dry and usable.

TerraBlcok

TerraBlock is installed in the crawlspace, keeping the crawlspace well insulated. The TerraBlock Insulation is installed on the floor of the crawlspace underneath the CleanSpace.

CleanSpace Liner

CleanSpace Liner is installed in the crawlspace. It acts as a vapor barrier, and increases energy efficiency.

Bright White

The fully encapsulated crawlspace is bright white, and dry!

SiverGlo Panels

The SilverGlo panels insulate the crawlspace with their 2 inch thick material. They are a radiant barrier that reflects heat back into the crawlspace.
