This Davenport homeowner wanted to begin transforming their basement from cold and drafty to a warmer more inviting space. The professionals at MidAmerica installed patented products that are designed specifically for basements. The basement was experiencing some leaks through the walls, so the team installed WaterGuard as the perimeter drainage system to drain leaks into the WaterGuard and off of the foundation floor. The team replaced the drafty old window system with the EverLast Sliding Window system. ThermalDry flooring was installed over the exposed -chilly and damp- concrete floors. The team insulated the space by installing Basement to Beautiful wall panels. To keep humidity levels low, and keep the air fresh and healthy, the team installed the EnergyStar Rated SsniDry XP. This basement is ready for all of the finishing touches. Thanks to the patented products that were installed by MidAmerica experts, this space will both look warmer and feel warmer too!

ThermalDry flooring is the only all in-organic subfloors in the world. ThermalDry flooring was designed for basement floors because they are unaffected by water, water vapor and mold. On the bottom of ThermalDry flooring are small pegs that create a space between the flooring and foundation floor to prevent water vapor from getting trapped in the flooring, causing odor. This homeowner chose the Parquet flooring, which has all the appeal of a wood floor with none of the headache.

Basement to Beautiful panels create a continuous, 2 1/2 in. thick thermal barrier with graphite-infused foam. The SilverGlo rigid foam insulation used in the panels will never absorb moisture. The panels are also vapor barriers which will allow wall leaks to drain safely down to the WaterGuard perimeter drain. Built-in chases for running electrical wires.The team also installed the energy efficient SaniDry XP to keep the space dry and the air healthy.
