Soon, design specialist Michael Banks came out to help Terry identify her basement concerns. After reviewing the information, and conducting a detailed inspection, an action plan was created. Foreman Justin Bailey and his team were out to the property shortly thereafter to fill the cracks, and permanently stabilize the walls. The team used PowerBraces to make sure the walls would be stable or many years to come. The work looks great!
Fran B. needed to waterproof the crawlspace in her Iowa City, IA home. She went ahead and called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems, and met with design specialist, Joe Sarb, to talk about her options. Together, the two came up with a plan that would both waterproof and insulate the space.
Foreman Mike Clementz and his team waterproofed the basement using CleanSpace wall and CleanSpace Drainage matting, along with a few other projects to keep the basement dry. A SaniDry unit was installed to keep mold and moisture at bay. Additionally, energy-saving, heat-trapping SilveGlo was installed to keep the crawlspace nice and warm in the winter, without letting all the hot air out. Fran loves the new crawlspace.
