Waterproofed basement and new foundation in Washington, IL
In the before photo, you can see a Wyanet, IL basement that we had recently waterproofed. The homeowner wanted to enhance the space further, so we helped by adding our Elite Plank flooring. This finishing touch not only elevated the aesthetic but also offered a durable, water-resistant solution perfect for a basement environment.
Darrell was having issues with water seeping and pooling in his basement and didn’t know what to do. When he heard of MidAmerica Basement Systems he quickly contacted them to have his issue fixed. During his inspection, it was offered that a waterproofing system that included CleanSpace, WaterGuard, and a SuperSump, be installed. The CleanSpace helps address the leaking foundation walls by placing a vapor barrier to help stop moisture from entering. It also helps direct water to the WaterGuard system. WaterGuard is a drainage system that collects water from under the foundation floor and water that seeps in from the walls. After water is collected in the WaterGuard, it is redirected to the SuperSump to be discharged from the home. Darrell now longer worries of a wet basement.
