Sloping and cracked concrete can devalue the appearance of your home, especially if you are putting your house on the market. Having a concrete porch attached to your home is a great selling point, but only when the steps to the porch are safe to walk on. Sloping steps pose a high trip hazard for current and purchasing homeowners. A simple call to MidAmerica Basement Systems can have your sloping steps addressed in less than a day. PolyLevel injections allow for polymers to quickly and accurately lift and level the concrete, reducing tripping hazards and restoring property value. PolyLevel makes concrete leveling stress free.
Eric and Lori had a TripleSafe sump installed awhile back by MidAmerica Basement Systems, and during their annual service appointment, it was addressed that water was starting to seep in through the foundation walls. As a result, WaterGuard (drainage tile system) was installed around the perimeter of the basement. The WaterGuard has a small gap at the top of the product that allows water to run down the wall and into the drain tile. Water that enters the drainage system is than directed to the sump pump where it is properly discharged from the home.
Homeowners Doug and Amy have lied in their home for the last eight years. For the last five years, they have wanted to finish their basement to be waterproofed. Along with waterproofing, their goal was to complete their basement and make it a livable space. The basement was completed using all products that are inorganic and will not mold or warp with if they get wet. The wall panels are all inorganic and all of the flooring carpets is inorganic.
A Newhall, IA homeowner realized he had a bad radon problem when his test kit came back more than 5x higher than the EPA's recommended safe level. Concerned for his safety, Lyle called the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for a free estimate. He met with design specialist Joe Sarb, and now is breathing clean, safe air.
Every time it would rain, Jen’s garage would become wet, leaving water pooling and puddling. With no place for the water to go, mold started to grow, causing damp and unhealthy conditions. An inspection with Bryan from MidAmerica Basement Systems allowed for the issue to be properly addressed. A TrenchDrain system was installed to collect the water that would enter that garage. There it was properly directed away from the garage, helping keep the garage dry, and preventing the growth of more mold.
