In Fulton, IL a homeowner reached out to us with a basement that leaked every time it rained. As seen in the before photo, there was clear evidence of persistent water intrusion, especially in the corners. Our solution was a combination of a WaterGuard system, SuperSump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona unit. These top-tier products collectively transformed this one wet basement into a dry and healthy space for years to come.
The homeowner of this basement in Kewanee wanted to improve the basement with new flooring. They called the MidAmerica Basement Team to install ThermalDry Flooring. ThermalDry is specially made for basements as it is made of materials that resist water, water vapor and mold growth. After the team waterproofed the perimeter with WaterGuard, the team installed ThermalDry Flooring. The patented ThermalDry Flooring helps make cold, damp floors more comfortable as well as making the basement feel homier and more inviting. What a beautiful transformation!
The homeowner of this crawl space wished for usable space that would be sealed from the earth, waterproofed, and healthier overall. The team at MidAmerica Basement Systems cleaned debris from the space and fitted the space with CleansSpace. CleanSpace liner is 20 mil thick 7 ply material that is resistant to tear and punctures making it durable and long lasting. The CleanSpace fights mold growth with UltraFresh, which is an antimicrobial additive. The CleanSpace also acts as a vapor barrier making it difficult for Radon gas to enter the home. The space before is dark and cold but after the MidAmerica team seals it with CleanSpace, the homeowner has a space that cleaner, brighter, and available for use.
The homeowner of the crawl space in Kewanee wanted their crawl space to be healthy, dry and possibly usable. The team fitted the space with the patented CleanSpace liners. CleanSpace liners are a 20 mil thick, 7 layer material that is inorganic and has an additive called UltraFresh that fights mold growth. The CleanSpace liners also acts as a vapor barrier. The team also installed a SmartSump (not pictured). SmartSump is ideal for crawl spaces that have piping running through the space. If a pipe breaks, the ever strong and efficient CleanSpace liner will not allow the water to drain out of the space which could to be problematic f not addressed quickly. The SmartSump is compact enough for crawl spaces and comes equipped with the WaterWatch alarm which will alert the homeowner of any rising issues. The SmartSump has an air tight lid that allows water to drain but does not allow water vapor to escape.
This crawl space is clean, protected and now has the potential to be extra storage space if the homeowner chooses.
