Pat and Leslie were having issues of high levels of Radon, sometime reaching 7 pCi/L. Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer in the United States, making it a very deadly gas. Installing a Radon Mitigation system in the home allows for Radon to properly be withdrawn from the home, leaving the quality of the air a healthier and safer place to breathe. Thanks to a Radon Mitigation system from MidAmerica Basement Systems, Pat and Leslie’s Radon levels have significantly dropped.

John and Dorothy were noticing high levels of moisture in their home and decided to purchase a dehumidifier from the hardware store. CleanSpace was offered to totally encapsulate and permanently seal off the moisture. CleanSpace Drainage Matting was placed along the exposed ground to collect and move the moisture the a SmartDrain. CleanSpace Liner was installed over top the matting and along the walls to permanently seal off the crawlspace from the exposed ground. Any water that entered under the crawlspace was pumped back out through the SmartDrain, keeping the crawlspace dry. John and Dorothy no longer have issues with moisture levels in their home.

Here, ZenWall and WaterGuard are working together to keep water out of the basement, and efficiency running at an all time high for these Atkinson homeowners. They sleep easy now, knowing water will be staying out and energy savings will be going up.

Matt was having issues with his basement always becoming wet when it rained. Some areas would pool if it rained hard enough. The WaterGuard would be able to collect any water that would seep in through the foundation walls and under the home’s foundation. After the WaterGuard collects the seeping water, it can then be directed to the TripleSafe sump where it will be disposed out of the basement.
