MidAmerica Basement Systems Before & After Photos

Betheny and Gary M. reported to MidAmerica Basement Systems that following heavy rainfall, the floor and wall joints would leak water into the basement space. They already had a good sump pump, but they knew they needed more.

Design specialist Clayton Spinler recommended full perimeter, patented, sub-floor drainage system, WaterGuard. Now water intrusion is no longer an issue for Betheny and Gary.

Karen and Kevin J. of Clinton, IA contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems because they had water coming in through the floor and wall joints of their home. After they had the patented sub-floor drainage system, WaterGuard installed, along with a new sump pump by foreman Kyle McCarty and his team, foreman Bill Wilcox and his team installed the beautiful EverLast Wall Restoration Panels. The basement looks amazing!

Lois had previous water damage to her newly installed insulation to her basement. She did not realize she needed a waterproof system until it was too late, and quickly made a call to MidAmerica Basement Systems. A TripleSafe and WaterGuard were installed to collect and discharge any future water intrusion, and a SaniDry XP was installed to keep the air dry and free of moisture. Basement to Beautiful Insulated Wall Panels were installed to provide the proper insulation for a basement. The panels provide a waterproof barrier that will never ruin from moisture or water and have a 24% more energy savings result than normal insulation.

Rachel recently had a contractor install jack posts to help support her sinking floors, but quickly realized that they were not installed properly. The jacks that had been installed couldn’t handle the weight of the home, and were beginning to buckle under the pressure, presenting the initial issue Rachel had started with, sinking floors. Holes are dug and filled with concrete or tightly-compacted crushed stone, providing the proper stabilization for the weight of the home. 

Lori has a 600 square foot home, with limited storage space. She would like to be able to store things in her crawlspace, but because of the dirt floor, the area is always full of moisture. She contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems to have her crawlspace encapsulated so she could use the area as storage. Lori was offered CleanSpace encapsulation with a SmartSump, SilverGlo, and a SaniDry Sedona. The CleanSpace is a vapor barrier that permanently seals off the ground from the crawlspace, while the SmartSump discharges any moisture or water that enters under the home. SilverGlo is a foam board insulation that will make the crawlspace more energy efficient for the home. A SaniDry Sedona was also installed to help keep moisture levels under control, making it ideal and safe to use the crawlspace as extra storage.
