In Independence, IA, this basement once played host to unwanted water always finding its way in. Notice the challenge in the "before" photo where our homeowner had quite enough of the struggle. But she can finally breathe easy.
System Design Specialist Shawn Conaway stepped in to diagnose the issue and design the perfect solution. Then, Foreman Jacob Oetzman and his crew—Jose, Antonio, and Colby—brought the plan to life, expertly installing our dynamic duo: the WaterGuard and TripleSafe Sump Pump, along with the trusty CleanSpace.
Now, as shown in the "after" photo, the basement is the dry, worry-free space meant for creating memories, not hazards to leave for the kids! We're all about giving homes—and hearts—a bit of rescuing. Each time, every time.
Jason and Carol G. of Riverside, IA called MidAmerica Basement Systems with concerns about their radon mitigation system. They had had a system installed by another company, and wanted to talk about having a quiter, less obtrusive system installed. They met with design specialist Mac McDaniel, who designed a custom solution for them. Then, foreman Bill Wilcox and his team installed the system. Jason and Carol are very happy with their new system!
These sinking driveway slabs were a tripping hazard in this Center Point, IA home. The homeowners decided that they should give the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems a call. Soon, foreman Levi Freund and his crew were raising the concrete driveway. The homeowners are happy that they have eliminated the tripping hazard and now have a smooth ride in and out of the garage.
Center Point homeowner, Gary, called MidAmerica Basement Systems when he discovered his home was affected by toxic radon gas. Gary soon thereafter met with design specialist Bryan Nachazel who helped by custom designing a solution for his home. Foreman Bill Wilcox and his team installed the Premium Radon Mitigation System, and now, Gary's home is safe from the toxic gas.
The concrete slabs under Jack’s stairs to his porch had sunken and shifted so much, it made the stairs unsafe to walk on, making it necessary for him to remove the stairs to prevent anyone from walking on them. His main concern was how much it was going to cost him to have it torn up and replaced. He was than introduced to the alternative solution of PolyLevel from MidAmerica Basement Systems. PolyLevel uses high-density polymers to lift, level, and stable sunken concrete slabs. Smaller than dime-sized holes are drilled into the slabs, and PolyLevel is injected, filling the voids that initially caused the slabs to sink. After the voids are filled, the polyurethane expands, lifting the concrete back to its level, stable state.
