The finished product! The slabs are now even, and thanks to the application of our NexusPro Joint Sealant, every single crack is sealed. This robust seal is the barrier that prevents water intrusion, safeguarding the base below and ensuring this Independence, IA driveway stays stable for years to come.
Cracked Driveway Repair in Independence, IA
This sidewalk in Asbury, IA, was clearly showing the signs of years of wear and soil settlement. The uneven slabs created a trip hazard and an eyesore, evidenced by the plant growth and voids taking over the walkway. The need for stabilization and lifting was undeniable.
Sidewalk Leveled in Asbury, IA
In Iowa's climate, cracks like this act as funnels. They allow water to rush beneath the concrete, washing away the soil support system. Worse, when that trapped water freezes in winter, it expands, forcing the cracks open even wider (the "freeze-thaw" cycle). This Goose Lake homeowner knew that leaving these cracks unsealed would eventually shatter the slab completely, forcing an expensive total replacement.
