Terry wanted his space to be cleared of debris and he wanted the space to be insulated. The MidAmerica Basement Systems team did all the above and more!
The crawl space before is cold, dark, uncomfortable, and layered with debris. The team cleaned the space by removing all of the debris and then they insulated the walls with SilverGlo. SilverGlo is a foil backed foam insulation that is infused with graphite. The SilverGlo is specially designed to keep heat from escaping the space, and outside air from entering making the space warm and saving the homeowner a bundle on utility bills.
We then installed drainage matting. The drainage matting has dimples allowing rising ground water to flow underneath the CleanSpace liner. The space is then fitted with CleanSpace liner. CleanSpace finishes the sealing process with a thick, durable, flexible plastic that has an antimicrobial additive making it mold resistant. All of the materials used are inorganic meaning that it is least likely to deteriorate and/or become a yummy meal for mold.
The homeowner now has a space that is clean, healthy, and comfortable while saving him money and headaches!

Recently in East Moline, IL, we had the opportunity to work with a homeowner who faced a recurring issue. The basement was always wet after it rained. This kind of persistent moisture problem can so more than just dampen spirits, it can lead to structural risks and mold growth. When the homeowner reached out to us at, our process began as it always does, with a call to our Customer Care Team to schedule a home inspection. From there, one of our System Design Specialists preformed a comprehensive inspection to diagnose the underlying problem. The persistent water seepage was due to inadequate drainage around the basements foundation that was overrun during heavy rainfall. We proposed a tailored solution using a trio of our reliable products: WaterGuard, CleanSpace, and the TripleSafe sump pump system. Our experienced installation team, under the guidance of a dedicated foreman, set to work. Installation started with the WaterGuard system, our non-clogging interior perimeter drainage, which was placed discreetly beneath a fresh layer of concrete. This system excels at channeling water directly to our sump pump without it affecting the look of the basement. Next, we deployed the CleanSpace vapor barrier, an advanced liner that combats moisture infiltration. Finally, we installed the TripleSafe Sump Pump system, an all-in-one solution designed with a primary, secondary, and battery backup pump to ensure the homeowner's peace of mind, regardless of power outages or unforeseen flooding events. Upon completion of hte installation, the basement was noticeably drier, and the homeowner felt reassured knowing they had a robust system with layers of protection against future water intrusion. At MidAmerica Basement Systems, we're committed to delivering waterproofing solutions that keep basements dry and homeowners at east.
In East Moline, IL, a homeowner reached out to us with concerns about water pooling in their driveway near the stairs to their home. Water collecting in this area not only posed a risk to the concrete's integrity but also served as a potential hazard. Our approach began after an inspection was scheduled with our Customer Care Team. A System Design Specialist from our sales team visited the property, providing a thorough inspection and identifying the underlying issues. He determined that the cause of the water pooling was sinking slabs and poorly sealed joints. To resolve this issue, our production team employed a three-step solution. First, we tackled the sinking concrete with our PolyLevel system. By injecting high-strength polyurethane foam through minimally invasive, pea-sized holes, we effectively lifted and stabilized the driveway slabs to their original position. This not only resolved the uneven surface but also eliminated areas where water was collecting. Next, to prevent future water infiltration, we used NexusPro Joint Sealant. NexusPro proved to be the prefect solution for sealing the joints. It provided a reliable, UV-resistant barrier that adapts to the natural expansion and contraction of the concrete, ensuring long-lasting protection against water and soil-washing damage. Lastly, we applied SealantPro to extend the lift and look of the concrete. This penetrated the slab, forming a robust barrier against chemical and water damage, which future-proofed their driveway from issues like pitting and staining. With the driveway now lifted, joints sealed, and both water and chemical damage mitigated, the homeowner's concerns were answered. Our expert application not only addressed immediate issues but also safeguarded the home from potential damages down the line, providing the homeowner with peace of mind and a concrete solution they can trust.

Homeowner, David was not too thrilled when he had water leaking into his basement, on top of that, his basement wall started to lean in. He knew that this was a larger issue at hand and he needed expert help. He contacted MidAmerica Basement Systems. Design Specialist, Justin was able to come out to David's home to do an inspection and give him the best recommendation possible for his basement. He recommended that David had his basement fully waterproofed and have a Powerbrace installed to stabilize the bowing wall.
The Powerbrace system is a beam placed against a foundation wall and is bolted to the floor slab and the floor above. This will keep the forces between the two equal. This will help permanently stabilize the wall from bowing and can be tightened over time to help further straighten the wall. The brace is made of zinc, this means the system will not rust or weaken over time.
Now David no longer has to only not worry about his basement leaking, he no longer has to worry about his basement wall bowing in thanks to MidAmerica Basement Systems. If you too are experiencing the same issue as David, do not hesitate to reach out to MidAmerica Basement Systems. We would be happy to help you!

Homeowners have been at their home for years now and ever since they have been having water seeping into their basement through the wall & floor joints. They plan to live at their home for the long term and want to finish their basement so fixing their leaky basement is priority. Our design specialist, Chris DeVore had the privilege to assess the home and provide solutions for the homeowners. As a solution to help keep the water out the basement, Chris recommended WaterGuard. An effective waterproofing system, it captures groundwater before it leaks onto your basement floor. It does this by directing ground water to the sump pump where it can be pumped out the basement. Homeowners can now finish their basement with peace of mind.

Terry was having concerns about his crawlspace always being dark and damp. He reached out to MidAmerica Basement Systems to have his crawlspace looked at. Mac has suggested that he have CleanSpace and SilverGlo installed to seal off moisture and insulate the crawlspace. Crewmen laid down CleanSpace Drainage Matting on the dirt ground to collect any moisture. SilverGlo was installed around the walls of the crawlspace, providing an insulation layer, making the crawlspace more energy efficient. CleanSpace Liner was then placed overtop the drainage matting and insulation, completing the crawlspace encapsulation.
Warping and molding drywall is a concerning issue for any homeowner. It is an indication of a leaking foundation, and will only cause more damage if left untreated. One solution to helping address the leaking foundation is the installation of CleanSpace and WaterGuard. CleanSpace creates a vapor barrier between the foundation and basement, keeping moisture out. As water trickles down the CleanSpace, it than collects in to the WaterGuard that directs it to the sump pump. With CleanSpace and WaterGuard it helps prevent damage from leaking foundation.

Patricia was in the process of placing her home on the market, when she was noticing interior foundation cracks, sloping floors, and doors not properly shutting. She contacted the experts of MidAmerica Basement Systems to evaluate her home’s issue. Upon inspection, it was noted that there was foundation settlement, causing all the issues. To solve the issue, it was proposed installing a Push Pier system to lift the settled area of the home back to its original state. The interior foundation cracks were less noticeable, the floors were no longer sagging, and the doors now shut with ease with the lift from the Push Pier system.
Brian L. had enough of the sinking floor in the 3 seasons room of his home. After an employee referred him to MidAmerica Basement Systems, Clayton Spinler, design specialist assessed the project, determining PolyLevel as the best solution.
Foreman Levi Freund and his team set out to level the room. In almost no time at all, the floor had been PolyLeveled, and Brian L. once again had a functional and level room.
Steve H. would get water in his basement every time it rained. The water damage on the walls was becoming too overwhelming so he decided to call the experts at MidAmerica Basement Systems for a free in-home estimate.
Soon after giving them a call, an appointment was set up with Adao Natario to come evaluate the basement. Adao decided the best solution for this specific water problem was to install a full perimeter WaterGuard system, a SuperSump pumping system, and CleanSpace walling. The WaterGuard acts as a channeling system to carry the water to the SuperSump. The SuperSump pumping system takes the water up, out, and safely away from the home. The CleanSpace walling not only gives the basement a great new look, but also blocks the water from the walls down to the WaterGuard to be pumped out.
Steve H. is very happy with his new basement waterproofing system. He now has a dry and worry free basement for many years to come.
The owner of this East Moline residence was dissatisfied with his consistently damp basement so he turned to the professionals at MidAmerica Basement Systems. The owner is delighted with his cleaner and dryer basement!
The owners of this East Moline home were displeased with their dingy basement so they contacted the team at MidAmerica basement Systems. The basement was waterproofed with the installation of a WaterGuard subfloor drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump system. The homeowners are excited about their dry basement!
Terry is the homeowner of these TWO crawl spaces in East Moline and wanted them both cleaned up and insulated. Terry called the MidAmerica Basement Systems team and the team sent expert Mac McDaniel in to inspect the spaces. Terry agreed to the game plan and the team sent out lead foreman Justin Bailey to head the project.
The first crawl space is the larger of the two. The team cleared out all the debris and then laid out CleanSpace Drainage Matting. The drainage system is a dimpled polyethylene membrane material that allows water to flow underneath the CleanSpace liner. The team installed SilverGlo on the walls which is a foil backed foam insulating material. The SilverGlo is impregnated with graphite, which reduces heat from escaping the space. SilverGlo is inorganic making it unlikely to deteriorate. The space was sealed with CleanSpace liner wit is a 20 mil thick plastic liner that has multiple layers of plastics with differentiating flexibility making it resistant to tears and punctures. CleanSpace is an inorganic material that also has an antimicrobial additive called UnltraFresh which prevents mold growth on the liner. The second crawl space is smaller and was fitted with the CleanSpace liner as well. MidAmerica Basement Systems is happy to have provided Terry with two clean, comfortable, and insulated crawl spaces!
