Our Process for Servicing Your Waterproofing System

We recommend annual service and maintenance of your sump pump. During your service visit, our technician will perform the following services:

1. Test & Clean Your Sump Pump

Our technician will first perform tests to ensure every part of your sump pump system is working properly. If any of the parts are malfunctioning during a test, they will take note and review the problems with you. After the tests, they will clean the intake valve, impeller, and sump pump liner to ensure all parts are running smoothly and avoid any clogging or debris buildup.

2. Test & Replace Batteries

Your sump pump will likely contain a WaterWatch® Sump Pump Alarm and a battery backup pump. Our technician will test all batteries and replace if needed. It’s important to replace your alarm battery at least once per year.

3. Service Your Dehumidifier

If you have our SaniDry™ dehumidifier installed, our technician will clean the two filters as well as inspect all other parts for any issues.

4. Check the Discharge Line

Discharge lines are susceptible to freezing, so our technician will make sure the water is able to move through properly without freezing.

5. Maintain Your Crawl Space Liner

If you have our CleanSpace® crawl space liner installed, we will check it for any wear and tear and will repair any damages.

6. Check for Potential Problems & Suggest Upgrades

We want to make sure we share all potential problems with you before we leave your home so that you’re aware of any future issues that may arise. Our technician will review any signs of problems that they may find as well as suggest necessary upgrades to keep your basement protected.
